I think most of us would agree the ideal caliber for general predator hunting is .223. But if you're not interested in using the game for anything, just use your deer load and rifle, good target practice.

22-250 usually, .243 sometimes, and this winter I will be using a .204!

I was just curious, I use a 223 unless I'm practicing for a hunt then I use a 7mm Mag

.223 Rem. I will admit that the .22-250 bucks the wind better with the heavier charge, but for barrel life andjust liking the round as much as I do, it's .223 for me.
