After you take the hide off a fox or coyote, there isnt much left. I myself like waiting till I can get a good head shot. I never shoot them on the move, always stop them when im ready to shoot. One year I shot 8 with a bow,(only one head shot, the rest were vitals)

That's a bunch with a bow in one year. Were they all called in or were some of them coyotes of "chance" while bow hunting deer from a tree stand?

ive only taken one yote with a bow and it was by chance while deer hunting. the coolest part of the hunt was not even 5 minutes after nailing the yote I took a bobcat that was walking the same trail as the yote 5 minutes before. I didnt get a deer at all that season. but atleast I got a bobcat and a yote with my bow.

That is awesome. One critter that I've never taken with my bow is the bob kitty! If and when I get one with the bow, I'm sure it'll be by chance also, because I rarely carry the bow while calling any more.

I get called out to catch and stick city coyotes all over the country. No guns in the city. These were more like stray dogs. I mainly use snares but get a kick out of sticking a grim reaper through them. It kills them fast and thats what I need. Ive never shot one deer hunting. And ive never successfully called one in either. The report tells me when to be where and I just go and sit for them.
