Right on RidgeRunner. As for shooting mice in the house, I would use birdshot and a pistol. My Dad and his brothers used to shoot mice when the were young, that ran over the muzlin ceiling as they lie in bed with shot sheels. Grandma didn't like it as there was no way to retreave the dead mice.

How about a 1000 lb Grizly with CCI 22 Cbs ;)
Don't laugh too hard. A world record grizzly was taken by a little girl back in the 50's with a .22 short. If you'd like I can find the documentation for ya.

Couldn't believe it so I used Google... Bella Twin killed a huge grizzly with a .22 in self defense in 1953. This site has a picture, story is about 3/4 down the page:

Its a good caliber to use when shopping in mother natures super market. squirrel hunting, stalking up on rabbits, has just enough power to kill a predator if its close enough to hit. The only thing you would want to use when checking your trapline. It is a small caliber, but one that I use very often.

Since I carry a 22 with me almost everyday, it has seen lots of use. I've dispatched deer with it (local game warden calls me when they get stuck in fences and he doesn't want to drive 60 miles out of his way to dispatch them), coons, skunks, porcupines, coyotes, badgers, fox, gophers, rabbits, mink, muskrat, beaver, woodchuck, snakes, birds, and everything else that lives in South Dakota.

People who say it won't kill obviously aren't shooting the right ammo, or aiming at the proper spots.

Mostly squirrels, and rabbits. Though I have shot a couple of Crows in my in-laws garden, and a few mice in the garage with powderless rounds from Colibri.

U CAN USE IT FOR ALMOST ANY SMALL GAME! i shot a coyote at 81.7 yards w/ my .22LRand had 60gr bullets and it died in its traks. i can shoot squirrels out to 300 yards w/ the supermax bullets and rabbits 2. groundhogs u may shoot out to 100 yarsd w/ regular ammo but if u get supermax bullets from cabelas then its more like 150 yards. coyotes i would use 60gr bullets or supermax bullets out to about 100 yards. the bullets im talking about u can order onlien from cabelas. raccoons u can shoot out to 125 yds about. muskrat also 125. i kno wat i am talking about from expeirence. i have shot all these animals at my reccomended range except the coyote at 100 yarsd but would not b afraid 2 try it. but wat u do need is a super accurate .22 like mine. i get 1/2" groups at 200 yards w/ standard bullets. and the gun only cost me $130 and i bought it used. but try to get a new 1 if u can. if u already have a good one then good luck and spend a couple extra bucks on the 60gr bullets and supermax bullets that go 1,750fps. they will kicka** and are definitely worth it.
