which is better for slingshots

I was thinking of using a slingshot for squirrels and was wondering what would kill a squirrel more effectively a lighter round of ammo of a heavier round right now I am using these shot that are about three times the size of a B.B. I will not be taking shots past 20 yards with it.

check your local gun shop and see if they have bags of #4 buckshot. the are heaver and the right size.
at close range the heaver the projectile the better.the more shock they will have.

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

bigger is better, or should I say heavier is better with a slingshot. Out to 20 yards any muzzleloading ball 50 cal or larger will be fine. The bb sized stuff won't have enough butt to get the job done. You need something that will cause enough blunt force trauma to kill a small animal. Just like a bow, a slingshot will shoot one weight projectile more accuratly than another. Find the weight your slingshot likes and shoot that. Practice alot, and shoot instinctive. Shoot it just like a traditional style bow, hold it the same way everytime and pull it to the same anchor point on your face with every shot.20-25 yards is the max range for most slingshots.
