I have never used it but my dad did all the time and all he had was a full choke . He seemed to do pretty good with it ,got a deer every year .

You can use the full choke, it might not give ya the tightest pattern though. I use mod. choke with #4 buck and 00 buck shot and I get a tighter pattern. I'd suggest shooting a few shells on paper to compare chokes. Your full may be the best in your gun, but agian, your mod. may give fewer flyers, resulting in a tighter pattern.

I use full in my BPS. just be sure not to use the extra full turkey choke.you can mess it up bad,it's not made for that large of a shot size.
my BPS 3" with the full does a great job for deer and hogs.
try several different brands and different chocks to see which works best for your gun.

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

I have used a Patternmaster with my 10 ga Browning. You get some unbelieveable patterns with 4 and 00 buck. At 50 yards it is usually 90 per cent or better. Best coyote or fox medicine I have used with a scatter gun.

highcountry; it is one of the older models.3" mag.
I only use Winchester #4 buckshot,I have tried all the others and Winchester works best for me.
it does an awsom job on the wild hogs.I have one mounted that went over 350lbs. we really don't know how much he weighted.the scales went to 350 and he bottomed them out.
when I shot hin at about 35 yards he went down and never moved.

try several to see which one works for you.if you can find the solid lead ones, they are better than the copper plated.you can't hardly find the lead ones any more. when I do I buy all they have.
