RE: 07 Small Game Contest Submissions and Standings
Well, I'm finally off the snide.
When I signed up I figured I would end up shooting a few coyotes and wanted to shoot a few raccoons on my property but I ended up shooting prairie dogs on a co-workers place.
I shot several more, but these were the only ones that I ended up picking up and taking a picture of:
Not sure how many points these are worth. Groundhogs are 30 pts, Ground Squirrels are 20 pts and Gophers are 15 pts. You can tell by their size they are larger than gophers (the envelope in the picture with the date is 9" long).
Hopefully I will have some more tomorrow.

Well guys, I'm done for this year. I'm writing this from my dorm room up in NH (about 600+ miles from my groundhog fields) so I won't be adding anymore to my total. I think I made a pretty decent dent in the population.
If you plan on running another 'summer' contest next year when I'm back home, I'll sign up for that, but while I'm in NH, I'm going to be focusing on my studies and trying to find a way to hunt some deer with my bow if possible.
Good luck everyone!

This will probably be my last entry also. I shot a few more but didn't bother taking pictures of them all because there is no way I'm going to make it up to 2nd place! This should put me solidly into 3rd though.
