Gettin a new gun. Your opinions?
 

i'm looking for a new small game gun and was wondering what is better, a .22 or .17. i have a spot with lots of oaks that has shot openings up to 150 yds. my prize range would have to be 150 -200...thanks guys!

For that distance i would have to say a .223 .22-250 or a .17. Now if it were closer ranges and you just want a gun to plink with go with the .22.

22 Mag. I have a 17 and after 125 yards the wind moves the bullet way too much. And the 22 Mag has alot more knockdown power if you need it.

.22 mag. I absolutely love mine!! You won't be disapointed!! A really nice one with scope will cost you $200-$250
