bobcat hunting places wanted
 

were at in the midwest can i go to hunt bobcats? has anyone hunted them? any suggestions what to use for equipment any help would be great. thanks chad

Sorry to see no hits on your post. We don't have a season yet in Iowa but it may be in the works, lots more bobs these days. I would go with a small 22 centerfire, depending on how much noise you want to make out there.

bobkitttys arent in season till next winter here in nebraska, but when they are, knox county in northeast nebraska has some hills and heavy wooded areas with some open fields thats got some bobcat, wouldnt use more than a 223 if even, use forest camo, a turkey blind would maybe even work to, if i think of more ill let you know

Most of the guys I know that hunt them use dogs to track and tree them, then use a small caliber rifle, like a .223.
