what is the best gun to use to hunt groundhog?

.22 Magnum on up. It depends on the range. Bolt action is the most accurate and make sure you have a good scope. As always, buy the best gun you can afford. Ruger Model 77 is a nice "medium" price ranged gun.

17 works really well... i used my 243 and it just destroyed them

50 cal will do just fine!
