what to do with a dead coyote
ive never gotten one but lets say i did...what should i do with it? i dont have money to do a full body mount right now but what are some other options? and also, can you eat the meat and if so is it any good?

I have seen some old-timers make sausage out of them (tried it), but personally I wouldn't touch the meat as a general rule. Coyotes are known to be highly parasitic, especially thier intestinal tract.
A head mount/pedistal mount is nice. I am waiting to get one back from the taxidermist. Also, a mount not commonly seen is a rug with felt border, and the head in open mouth pose (like a bear rug, etc.) These options might cost you around 400 bucks.

Ive seen head mounts where it like mounted on a peice of uhh... log like a fish but it has a base with like rocks and stuff it sets up like a lamp but without the light and shade...
