Scope for semi auto 223
 
I am getting my 223 tapped for a scope....kinda curious what size scope to use.....Also no one ever seems to have heard of the brand of 223 i have, anyone know anything about it/them...Saiga...its russian made.

anything wouldpretty much would work.3x9-40 and 4x12-50 are pretty common scope sizes that would be easy to find, and do the job. 4x12 will be better if your lookin at some pretty long ranges. good luck

Never heard of the Russian rifle you have but I would suggest something along the lines of a 2-7x32 or a 3-9x40 for a minimum.

I have a Leupold 3.5X10X50 on my Ruger Varmiter 223 Rem.

Heard of them and seen them a bunch at gun shows. Made by the same bunch that makes the real AK's.

I'd suggest a 3-9x40 power scope. Nikon or Leupold.

i have had good luck with swift scopes i would go with a 3x9 or a 4x12

as IL-cornfed said, i would go with a minimum of a 3-9x40. if you can afford $200 or more go with a leupold. you can geta VX-I leupold for $200 in a 3-9x40 or a 4-12 for around $290
