Hey nighthunters!

I know that when you get a bunch of hunters together there are bound to be a few of you who have hunted fox while sittin next to a campfire on a hill top somewhere. Any of you southern night hunters out there, I would love to here your stories and tips about scent and game behavior! Thanks so much.

this is my first yote hunt

i was with my freind and we where out by a river. we hade one in sight but not in range. we hered some leafes rustlinf to our left. we looked over and saw a huge yote! he was about ten feet away! he had his head down looking at us. his tail was down his ears where pointed back! he was growling very loudly. i grabed my 10/22 witch i was using as a side arm and shot him right in the forehead. we followed blood about 50 yards but never found the yote where the blood stoped!

COON HUNT

me, my brother and a couple of my friends decided to go coon hunt one night it must have been 30 degrees outside. i got over at his house around 8 o'clock we had a bite to eat then headed out each of use strapped with our coon lights on our head and ready to go. first we went out ad got his dogs both walker hound dogs. so we headed down the road to the woods hunting mostly hunting a bottom with a couple of creeks going through it. when we got there we talked for a little bit about stupid stuff and then we proceded down the hill to release the dogs. we let them go and went dead scilent for about 30 minutes untill we heard the dogs strike they were in hot presuite of a coon so welistened for a few more minutes untill we were sure that the dogs had one tree'ed so we started heading to their direction after we had walked about 2 miles in to the woods we saw both of the dogs on top of a 40 foot tall cliff with one tree on it. thedogs we steady barking at the top of the tree so we were surre that the coon was up there. so we climed thecliff some of us almost breaking our necks going up it when we made itto the top we looked in the tree for about 30 minutes but there wasn't a coon to be seen. with dissapointment we headed back to theHEATED house and BS'ed for another 3 hours taking about when we each thought the coon had gone.EVEN THOUGHT WE DIDN'T GET A COON THE MEMORIES OF JUST SPENDING TIME WITH EACH OTHER IN THE WOODS WILL LAST A LIFETIME
