RE: moving traps
Do u think that a deer might have went off on it, maybe the smell of the fish was pushing its buttons. I dont think that it was another person, cus i am far away from a road, farm ect. thatnks. NYH

RE: moving traps
might of had a coon that got out, some of em really work a box trap when caught. Look it over good for hair, droppings etc.

RE: moving traps
well i just got back from checking my traps and i found a big chunck of skin and hair from a coon. he really did a job on my stake too. its all chewed up. i did notice some blood on the trap. i washed it off and put it back out, is that ok or should i put a new one out. and i heard if there was blood on the trail that they wont use it agian. is that true? thanks. RE: moving traps
the coons wont care, like you said just rinse and reset. I run a wildlife control business and have had the occassional raccoon that cuts himself up good trying to get out.never had any problems catching more the next night. stake or weight the trap down to keep them from moving it or rolling it over. Good luck
