I just didn't want to eat or mount the one I got since it had a giant tumor on it's leg.

Here in N.C. we call them fox squerrils.They are red black white blue and a combination of colors. The tumor you refer to is called a wolf a type of worm squirrels usaly lose them after it turns cold. You should not eat it.

whooo those are rare down south where i hunt squirrel, but when i squirrel hunt in michigan at my grandparent's farm the grey squirrels are the minority. next time i'll be sure to take lots of pictures. nice kill!
