so i pull off the road and try my hand at coyote calling...
well i start calling and bird watching (crows. they're so dam weary) and OF COURSE, a coyote shows up. i'm sure it was watching me for a while, before i noticed it came in. about 100 or so yards away hiding behind a big sage bush. where was my gun you ask, about four or five feet away taking a nap in the pasenger seat of my truck.

moral of the story, don't get busted because of something stupid.

well at least i know i can call 'em in....

i had almost the same thing happen to me. i was squirrel huntin and i called one in to 10 yds.but i had left the gun on the wrong side of the tree.
