.223 ammo

Hi.

I just bought a new rifle that I plan on using for coyote, fox, and some praire dogs. It is a .223. I would appreciate some comments on some comerically available loads that are suitable for all 3. Using the same ammo would save resighting in the rifle. Good shooting.

I've had really good luck with Black Hills. It is very reasonably priced and very good quality ammo. The V-Max loadings would all work well for fox, coyotes, and prairie dogs.

I'd check into both Ultramax and Black Hills ammo. My 223s always liked the 52gr HPs.

Never was a big fan of the M16 and its commercial variants, but I will have to tip my hat to those that get good accuracy out of them for varmints. And there are plenty our there. Yotes don't stand a chance.

Bought my 1st Ar in a RRA .223 EOP a few months back and wow is that thing accurate. Should make an excellent Pdog rig for SD this spring.
