I'd set a live trap with some sardines or anything for that matter. Take him out to an isolated area and shoot it.

He.He .22 silenced with subsonic shot, at about 1:00 in the morning, nobody will know.

Yeah, A conibear trap will work for sure.

Possumsare stupid. Box trap will work and you won't have to worry about some neighbor kid or a neighborhood pet sticking their head in the conibear.
