open or scope

for rabbit and squirrel hunting, would you recommend open or telespopic sights.it will be with the good ol' .22

RE: open or scope

For use on a .22, I prefer open sights. Faster target acquisition and it's easier to acquire and hit moving targets with open sights.

I like a peep sight better than a scope or regular open sights anytime for most hunting.

RE: open or scope

yeah the hunters safety instructor had one of those.but it seems like if you needed to see some thing more than 1-2 in. from the target spot to know where your aiming youd be haveing a hard time.but on the up side if you are aiming right and you see coolor, youll hit it.which seems like it would be good for most small game
