Fruit to trap beaver
Was told to use fruit to trap beaver? Anyone ever heard of this? What kind of fruit? Thx!

Might work on Muskrat and the coons will definately be into it but doubt you will get any beaver with it.

For beaver go cut some poplar and strip some of the bark off and use that for bait,I use that when I find a run heading into the river. When the bark is peeled the beavers can see it when they are swimming up and down the river. And besides, poplar is one of their favorite type of trees.

I use both. You don't want to peel all the bark off, that is what the beaver eat. Just peel the top half of the sticks, when doing this I peel them on the slide by the water so it looks like another beaver has been up there peeling the sticks.
