.243 for yotes/fox

I just ordered a Kimber Longmaster Classic in .243 and will use this as an all around rifle (varmint, deer, etc.).... What bullets should I use to maintain as much as the pelt as possible? weight, point, boattail, etc.

Excellent choicesin rifle and caliber. I don't currently reload, so I use Remingtons 80 gr PSP. I have had good luck with this round, it is both accurate and hasplenty on target energy. Good Luck Huntin' !!!

I reload Sierra 60grn hollowpoints there really fast and dont do a whole lot to a pelt damage as long as the shot is in the body. A blew a foxes head off once so head shots are out of the question.
