Rabbit Hunting in Illinois
 

Anybody doing any good? I went twice with friends over the weekend. We got 10 during a long afternoon hunt on Sunday, then 4 on a quick Monday morning hunt. Pretty good considering we did it without dogs.

its out of season nowin my part of illinois. but we did it last wekend also and killed out . no dogs were used. unless you call my lil cousin who is to young to shoot jumping on brush piles and picking up the dead ones for us..hehe;)

yeah, its tough to do it without enough people to beat brush. My hunts almost didn't happen because i forgot about the late deer season. If my buddies hadn't ofgotten their deer on Saturday, the Sunday rabbit hunt wouldn't have happened. Then on Monday morning I got lucky. The Mennonite kids down the road were given a two hour break from work to go hunting. Otherwise, i would hav ended up with far more briar scratches than rabbits in the freezer.

Speaking of rabbit hunting. Do you use ferrets for rabbits?

never herd of doing that. have you ever seen a web site for that 3D? i would be interested in reading up on it.

Havent found a great deal of web pages or litterature and films but it sure is fun. Maybe someone else has more.
