.22 CCI Stingers
 

I know there are lots of better guns for coyotes, but will .22 rifle loaded with CCI Stingers ( Hyper velocity ) work?

They are about 300 fps slower than a .22 Mag.

Yes, but it has been my experience that velocitors hold together and give better penertration. If you have a choice, use the Mag. and Win. 40 gr. jhps, providing they are accurate enough .

Thanx for the reply. I don't have a .22mag but I do have a box of Stingers. I'm hoping to put one through the rib cage of a coyote this year. Thanx again!

Leave the ribs alone. Head shoot the yotes.I hunt a ton with a 22.[close to houses] I kill every fox that I shoot.You can side shoot the fox. If I get a good head shot on the yotes there down,Aside shot I only get about half.Unless there is good snow than I get most all of them.



No snow head shoot.

the stingers will work bt not at a long range. if ya use the .22 mag find you a box of 33 grain remington premier with the little nosler ballistic tips. they are the fastest shooting 22 mag shell and have an explosive.

the stingers do work. i have shot a few yotes with them. but make sure they are in really close and headshots only with a 22

Make sure you head shoot them it will work fine. Oops sorry same thing everyone else said....
