Here is a better pic of the 2 red fox

Guys,

I took a pic this morning of the 2 reds because the nite shot was all blurry... Notice the lucky Bark at the Moon Coyote Club hat :D

Here are the shot placements, both direct hits to center of throat...

BHW, I check this section of the forum just to see what you have been posting. I really admire your dedication to calling and keep the pictures coming.

I was out again today and a neat thing happened...

At 4:10 PM, a red fox began barking at my Foxpro woodpecker. He was located in a woodlot hill next to the gravel pit that I was calling. I saw him approx 250 yds away. He then curled up and slept for 40 minutes! I watched him through the scope the entire time. I did not want to take the shot, because I do not know where my .223 would hit and I have not missed yet this year. I thought about stalking him, but figured I'd wait and see what happens when he awakes. Well, he awoke at 4:50 and started barking again ( I now call him "three bark"). He wandered off and that was that. Soon it was dark and I continued to call the area. After 1/2 hour, guess who I hear? Good old "three bark" is making his way across the wood ridge away from me. No shots tonite and, hence, no pics. Perhaps, I'll run into "three bark" later this week :)

BHW what ammo do you use in your 223?

I used to use hand loaded, but now I use American Eagle by Federal

I've been jinxed!!! This morning I called in a red, and had his picture taken and posted, only that I grazed him leaving only some hair and small amount of blood. I followed him right to a hole :(
