He's probably an old timer, missing hair in a few patchesshould I consider a mount? I will post some pic's when I get a chance. Thanks for any reply's. NYH

He's a big one for sure.Probably a dominant male for your area. Over 50 is big anywhere - in NY we see 60+often enough not to be surpised - and 70+ wouldbe a monster.
You can tell your's is a big one by the size of its Front 1/3. Thats how I can tell a Male from a Female at a distance.
I'd do my best to make a skull mount - it would be a good one..Be forwarned - if you leave it out in the elements - the teeth will fall out and you'll lose them - they arenot like a deer skull where they stay in pretty well. When the skull is clean & dry - you may even have to glue the teeth in - its kind of like a puzzle getting it all back together.
If a skull mount is not you thing - leave it out in a hedgerow ( tie toa tree)- and next fall - you can pull the large canine teeth out - (on yours they will be 2-1/2" long!) out of the skull. Clean them up good and they will be great conversation pieces or momento of the Coyote taken.
