There's been some talk of some yotes in our section. What's a good way to get them into range to shoot? Is it legal to bait? Techiques? Any help is good help.

Buy yourself a rabbit in distress call. Then go out and shoot a rabbit. Take the dead rabbit up with you to where you want to hunt and put it down wind of your location. Start on the distress call and they'll come in to investigate the sound and smell. That's when you start blazing away at 'em.

I live in northern Iowa. There is a waterway that has a stream running through itabout 1/2 mile off a gravel road. There aren't any trees around it. Pretty much harvested corn and beans and a little alfalfa and the groves from the surrounding houses.What time is the best time during the day?
