i skin them and eat them raw on the spot..., or use my game pouch

Qucker than the shower curtain rings is to just usea fishing stringer. Still a good idea, though.

I've found that throwing a few freezer paks in with your squirrels, rabbits, etc really helps with the ripeness at the end of the day.

I skin them as soon as I shoot them .
I then put them in a small soft sided cooler in my day pack with a ice pack
When I get home I just have to rinse them off and freeze or eat

Ya see...back in da day we used to carry dem varmits by their tails:eek:..or just use a plastic bag so blood doesn't get all over the truck.

johnch....you got it rite skin em up and keep em cool..Lil critters dont take up too much room. I use a heavy gauge plastic bag with drawstring and ice paks
