Squirrel in distress call

I got one but has anybody had any luck on squirrels with it. Also I am wondering if it will bring in coyotes or fox.

never used a distress call for squirrels, have used a call that just sounds like one squelling or chattering to let the others know a hawk or an owl has passed through.useing that let me know in what trees they are in.

as for the coyotes I would say it should work.they hone in on distresed animals.
I would say a squirrel in distress call was intended to be use for preditors, and not to hunt squirrels with ; JMHO

After you use the call try beating a small leafy branch against the ground. Sounds like a hawk taking off. I have done this with good results.

Ive never used a disress call. I have tried an alerting bark call and hardly ever get results with it. Perhaps i should try a distress call. Seems like coyotes like any realistic distress call.
