What do you plan on nighthunting? Most animals will look away from a light that bright, brighter is not always better for hunting. What does it run off of? That thing is going to eat a battery.

We use headlamps at night. When you have a treed coon, brightness is a good thing. It doesn't matter if they look away, they generally do anyways. You need a bright light to pick the coon out. That being said, I would never want to lug that thing out with me, it's huge.

I also use a headlight for coon. It there are no leaves bright is ok. When the leaves are on and you need them to look bright is bad. Next time you walk to the tree, turn the rheostat way down and shine the tree from a distance, coon will generally look right at it and keep looking at it. You'll know where he is before you get there. You pop that thor in his eyes he won't look again.

That thing would scare every coyote within 10 miles of my neighborhood.
