What ever you choose make sure it has a solid core to it or the rope will compress over time and may either break or slip through the jaws of some releases.

You can usually find the spine on a carbon by bending it slightly and rolling it over your thigh. You should feel a definite "bump" as you roll over the stiff spot where the fibers are...

I had the same problem PADavy mentioned and they sent the new horizontal bar in a few days. Guess some of them were machined to the wrong tolerances.

Locktight/tape/etc. will not help this...

I curl my pinky into my palm when I grab my bow and that keeps my palm lined up consistantly all the time. Then I just open my hand when I draw so that I am shooting with a relaxed hand... once...
