RE: Hunting With A .50 Caliber BMG?

So it's ok to shoot an elk at 400, but stupid at 1000. It's ok to shoot a coyote at long range, but not a deer. It's unchallenging to make a long range shot with optics, but not if it open sights....

RE: Hunting With A .50 Caliber BMG?

What 400 yards is ok, but a thousand is stupid? Those guys shoot better at 800 yards then alot of people do it 150, I say the ladder is stupid. For God sakes there are articles about people sitting...

RE: I've changed me mind about wolves!!

There are only three things that warrant fighting in the west, water, women, and wolves. Believe me, emotions run high.

RE: I've changed me mind about wolves!!

Agreed. The comparison to Canada is ridiclous, not even close to being the same habitat andpopulation dynamics of the US Rockies. Elk populations are indeed dwindling, and biologist are starting to...

I'm thinking a recurve is superior.

I have been pondering the dynamics of Elk hunting and how my style jives with my equipment. I've thought of the weird and surprising angles at which the bulls have come in and how many times I had to...

Yeah, now that's what I'm talking about.[8D] I would like to hear Brutal Attacks reasoning, I have agreed with him on some other biological issues and I think he has some training in that area but I...

RE: JANUARY ELK/MULE DEER HUNTS AVAILABLE - RANCHING FOR WILDLIFE

We have a classified section for those selling goods and services. Personally, I wouldn't do business with anybody that resorts to spamming a web site.[:@]

RE: Wolf, to shoot or not to shoot, that is the question?

BB, why do you assume that a delisting and hunting season is going to keep the numbers in check? Thats a big leap. The K-Bar ranch was given carte blanche to go after a pack in the big hole area last...

RE: Wolf, to shoot or not to shoot, that is the question?

The problem with your theory is that why do the wolves belong in Montana and not Chicago? It's 2006, the time of free ranging wolves is gone. Once again, the fact is, the wolf is here to appease...
