My season is also done. It was a good year with lots of opportunities at bucks but none that met my requirements. It has been fun.

Yesterday morning saw two 1 1/2 yr olds out looking and that evening saw five baldies. It is going to be in the 40's this next week so hopefully the big boys will get up and moving during the day.

Real slow weekend here in Wisconsin. I hunted a pond setup Friday evening and Saturday morning. I only had two fawns come in on Friday and saw a doe about 200 yards away in the beans Saturday...

I was only able to get out on Sunday morning. I saw one 4pt buck at 09:00 and that was it. Hopefully will be able to get out for some afternoon hunts this week.

The private land that I hunt is 30-50 miles away so I may not get to them as often as I would like but I have a lot of public land within 10 miles that I will utilize more than normal this year.

Well Wisconsin's early archery season ended yesterday with no shots at any shooters yet(3 1/2 or older). Gun season starts Saturday and goes through the following Sunday. Then back to bowhunting...
