I am shooting a Martin short bow 31.5 ata. I would say for "hunting accuracy" it is fine. I have not heard a single complaint from a deer I have killed with this bow that it wasn't accurate enough....

Thanks for the help guys!!!! I did forget to mention that I just had my string and cable replaced and tuned by a pro at a good archery shop. I am making an assumption that bow tune is not a major...

I second the Hoyt Banshee....Started my son at 8 years old. We just switched to the second set of cams that increase the draw length up to 24?? inches. It goes from 15-45lbs.

Thanks for the advice. I will probably overpack as usual. BTW I won't be hunting lion!!!! Kudu, impala, blesbok, gemsbok, etc.....I guess that's why they call it dangerous game

liquidorange....I am traveling to Potgietersrus in RSA. It is in the Lompopo district. 4 hrs north of JNB. The outfitter and PH is Safari Afrika...Richard Lemmer is the owner.

Thanks for all the help. I picked up a package of WASP 125 gr 3 blade BH's today. I also looked at the African bow hunt site....I had no idea how stupid I was about hunting Africa until I started...
