i use 125 gr nosler balistic tips with 53.5gr of imr 4320. that gets me 3100fps and seems to do the job form woodchucks to whitetale.

i use nosler 125 balistic tip 87.4 gr imr 4350 for the 300 weatherby 3700fps and very accurate. its not just a varmit load like a lot of people think. ive taken a LOT of whitetale with this load.

i use the rcbs charge master. although i calibrate and ckeck it with the check weights each time i reload. it seems to be pretty darn accurate if you ask me.

all of the advice here is dead nuts. just a tip. the 505 scale works well, but try to keep an eye out for the 1010 scale. i ues the rcbs charge master alot but i use my 1010 scales for target loads....

i agree with big country. it should have never ruined the die. was the die dirty. try cleaning them in the tumbleronce in awhile to try to prevent a stuck case or different lube.

most of the powder that i use the most is imr. i use alot of the 4350, and the 4064. i have found that varget is about one grain off from 4064.

varget is about 1gr different than imr 4064. if you cant find a varget load, i whould and do always start with min loads and work up. some of the older guns cant take the pressure the newer ones can.

I whould try 36.1gr to 37.0 gr. with the varget. ive had good luck with it. Or H380 38.0gr for better accuracy.
