RE: 30-30 pump

It depends on what Make they are. I can only think of Savage making a 30-30 pump. My uncle has one or I wouldn't know about it. They also made it in 35 Rem. I don't know if Remington made a 76 or 760...

The new A-Bolt Hunters have a Satin finished stock. You don't have to do anything to it. The picture on their website needs updated. Click on the "Item Number" for 300 WSM and read it....calls out a...

Absolutely! That's what I use too. Just put it where the existing licky spots are and seal it up. I can never get them to seal either without it. I also use it on the label instead of tape.

I'm with Red on this one as well. I don't recall any caliber being talked about as much as the WSM's in the last several years....even the RUM's.

RE: .300 WSM recoil in a compact rifle?

A 25-06 in an 8 pound rifle shooting a 120gr pill at 3000 fps should generate a whopping 12 ft-lbs of energy according to chuckhawks.com.
