The foxpro is good if you have some money saved up, but some of us poor people cant afford something like that. I use a Johny Stewart prey master and before that I used a Lohman cassette player call...

RE: What is your go-to rifle for coyotes?

I would go with my 204 ruger pushin a 32 gr vmax at 4225 fps. Altough on occasion i go with my single shot 223.

RE: Question for New England coyote hunters

Are you serious? It takes more work to throw a carcass out and sit and wait than to call a coyote in. Man, then why would you even want to bait. If you just want to control the population and want an...

RE: What rifle for squirrl hunting

ya those 17 hmr's are something else. It might be a little rough on a squirrel if you use the hornaday vmax but with cci tnt's it should be better, probably less damage, if you plan on eating them.

I dont think youll find a used fox pro. I think a johnny stewart prey master would be good for a beginner. Fox pros are realy expensive.

RE: Favorite .17HMR ammo Brand

Check it out, the vmax are great on small game but expand to quick for anything bigger. The 20 gr game points from the cci's work better for fox and bigger. So id stick to the cci's

RE: Question for New England coyote hunters

Bait might be good but thats the easy way to do it. Most people like the challenge of calling something in and then taking it instead of just baiting it and shooting it. Whats the challenge in that?...

You should just get a single shot for around $200. At Walmart their real cheap but not built cheap. The NEF can be made into a real tack driver with a few modifications especialy the survivor model.

I have a mini 14 stainless, and I cant get that thing to group no matter what I do. Mini 14 are extremely inaccurate, but fun to shoot. If its for hunting I strongly advise you not to get one.

RE: 17 HMR Vrs 22 Magnum For Coyotes/Crows
