RE: Questions concerning reloading 12 GA shells

I have a older MEC progressive reloader that is a single stage and I can turn out 100 rounds in about 30-40min.

I'm not that familliar with the new reloaders for shotguns so I can't be much help...

RE: BB's,2,4,6 which one

I would go with the #2 shot...it's a good compromise...large enough to bring down geese provided you aren't sky bustin and it's not overkill on woodies and ringnecks. Probably about perfect for the...

RE: 22 Hornet

Good Point, safety always first.

Hogdon's 'Lil Gun was designed for small guage shotgun shells like .410 and 28 guage, maybe that's why it worked without any pressure problems. 13gr is almost a...

RE: Gun cleaning ???'s

at Cabelas you can get cleaning rods that are teflon coated to protect your barrell. I would recommend you stay away from bare stainless rods or the cheap aluminum rods.

RE: Newbie Question?

I beg to differ....you may want to check out the ballistics of the 204 vs the 223 and the 22-250. The 204 is much flatter than both and beats both in velocity, bullet drop, and wind driftout to 500...

RE: what's the mark on my primer after firinig?

look at the face of the slide to see what your firing pin looks like.

Is the gun firing properly?

Any jams?

Any missfires?

If not, I wouldn't worry about it.
