I don't care much for them except on a pistol. I like squared notch black sights and scopes. I think it is because of how my eyes work more than the technology, most people love them.

You have done some testing with them I think I read, how do you like them? I think .40cal 200g would be good medicine for whitetail. I just don't recall seeing any shooting results with them.

I would think if you are not "torquing" the stock onto the barrel when assembling the rifle bedding wouldn't be a problem. I think the same would apply if on a traditional rifle the barrel lug does...

Yes they will work fine in the Omega. The Scout is an older model not made anymore which used loose powder only.

I own a couple of Scouts very nice rifles but they are not modern inlines.
