Full metal jackets...kind of pricey but are well worth it...i get unbelieveable penetration from the kinetic energy that they have and i have shot one into a brick garage wall one time on accident...

I also put mine around my stands...I'm a right handed shooter so I put the lick a little off to my left and 20 yards out in front of my stand for use as a yardage marker as well...

Thanks for the advice guys...he did find his arrow at the last spot where the deer layed down but it was only the broadhead and about 3 inches of shaft and he could not find the rest of it...ill keep...
