The only way I would use turkey calls such as hen calls is the night before opening day so I could get an exact location on a bird before he goes to roost. So in the morning there's no suprises....

Try Winchester High Velocities # 6's out of your gun, I'd bet the pattern stays together longer over 40 yards. Plus there alot cheaper than heavy shot.

My expierences have taught me that blue light may make blood shine and green light makes blood look like tar, but nothing beats the old fashion latern, or regular flashlight not a LED one, it's kind...
