Are you looking to hunt eastern or Western Montana? You may want to pick a region or two and get a hold of the local FWP. Usually they are very helpfull in pointing you to good locations to hunt....

In montana, you really don't have season specific tags. You can archery hunt during rifle season but you have to follow rifle regulations. And there isn't a muzzleloader specific season either.
