I must say, If I saw a 500 pound deer I would be very intimidated. I would even feel guilty for shooting it, for a split second :D

I believe its just natures way of sorting out the deer populations. I know here in southern Indiana we had quite a few fall victims to blue tongue but I have still seen more deer in my last 4 outings...

I agree! Something about this situation just doesn't fit. It seems to me that there is some miscommunication between the DNR and your city. I would get with a local DNR officer and go from there.

Even though I have yet to fill my tags, I consider this season a success. I have seen almost 30 deer in a matter of 5 days but keep passing on them waiting on "the one". I am going to keep waiting on...

I got to go down to ripley county with a buddy this past weekend on around 100 acres of wooded/field property that is only hunted by two other people. In 3 hours we saw 26 deer and a couple dozen...

I have read that solid limbs last a little longer but have no evidence to support it. I shoot a split limb and have no complaints.
