Sako or Tikka, huh? Pretty light weight, probably better go with the smaller of the .308 caliber magnums, i.e. 300WinMag or 300WSM.

Personally I'd gostrive fora heavier rifle and a 300RUM...

IMHO, the 325WSM isthe wannabeof the WSM line, they tried to make it work as a 338WSM but there wasn't sufficient powderspace so they dropped down to the next notch on the bullet...

308, good choice, in our elk camp, we consider it to be a "30-06 equivalent" and suitable for elk (and definitely for deer). Congratualtions on not going for the much recommended "underbore" stuff....
