Finally I made some progress! I went back to the shop that closed and 5pm and dropped off the bow. It was mypeep sightwhich is now set so its ajustable so I can re-sight in my pins. Then he'll lock...

I tried achoring under the jaw bone just to see what happens. The bow was aimed at the sky! My bow string comes right to the corner of my mouth.

If I kew how do do the work I'd just do it myself.

I used mechancials when I first started bowhunting. I shot a buck and the blades never opened. I got lucky and got my prize butI switched to fixed blades and won't look back.

Not worried about mine. Repaired the shrink tubing couple weeks ago. It is not motorcycle chain either. I'd say some type of industrial chain. My old bikes would snap that chain like butter.

How do I fix the problem? I'd really like to practice out to 40 yards but the sight has no room for the pin. I have 20 and 30 now. The bow had new string on it and sat for two years due to work...

I'm back and I'm hungry. My bow was restrung and shooting like s***. I'm going to the shop tomorrow and may just buy a new one!

They really hype it up in the catalog don't they. Its nothing more than camo covered fleece. That would work for the warmer days of the early to mid-season around here otherwise your going to freeze...

I tried the "X" system with nails and it works very good. I through on a dial indicator just for giggles. The needle barely moved off of the zero mark which ends up being way less than one...

This was done last year. I printed the whole tuning guide and keep it in my file cabinet. I'll bring it to the shop and have them move it up then. I don't know how to tie the fancy knots at the ends....

Like the others said, go to a pro shop and get fitted. You need to figure out a draw weight and draw length. Then see if they have anything used in your price range. You don't want anything too new...
