You are correct, you can put soybeans in with other grains to create your own mix... I know that the deer will eat everthing else and then the soybeans, so you have to gradually cut back on the other...

I am limited on the equipment that I can get down into these river flats... I have planted 500 pine trees down in there before, and none of them survived!! Either deer ate them or the water level...

Getting a good food plot depends on a soil sample! You can plant anything you want, but if the soil is wrong nothing will grow. I learned this the hard way, and now I won't do anything without a soil...
