RE: Trespassers make key to MY gate

What do these trespassers do for a living? Sounds like they are smarter than the average bear who intrudes. This is the first I've heard of something like this. Just be glad that they didn't lock you...

RE: Favortie bow

I voted for Hoyt, but that's only because I've owned 2 of them, still have 1 that I hunt with. To be honest, it boils down to a Ford vs. Chevy type of argument in my opinion. Buy the bow that feels...

RE: Speaking of Hunting Shows...

It bugs me that they continually turn the show into one big product hawking experience. My take on the shows is this: They were good my first year of bowhunting, but now I really could care less...

RE: Bow got soaked - anything I shoud know?

I live about a mile from the Cloverdale post office, just about a mile from the Roanoke Co. line. I only hunt my own land, which is in the Eagle Rock area, that way I don't have to buy a license.

RE: Bow got soaked - anything I shoud know?

So Duc, how is your season going so far? I've only been out 4 times and have seen and heard deer, but no shot opportunities. I'm kind of getting discouraged. I figured with the front moving through...

RE: What is your opinion on hunting shows

From my experience, when I first starting bowhunting these shows provided a lot of info and excitement, but the more I got to know about hunting. I realized that I'd never be able to afford to do it...

Bow got soaked - anything I shoud know?

I went out last night for my first evening hunt of the year. A front was moving through and the temp was in the mid 70's. There was a very slight chance of rain in the area I hunt, so I figured it...

How far are you driving, roundtrip, when you bowhunt?

I'm driving about 57 miles roundtrip everytime I want to bowhunt. To me this seems like a lot, but that's where my land is. So unless I want to buy a license and hunt the National Forest, this is...

I've changed my strategy alright, I've elected not to waste my time bowhunting when it's this hot out. Instead of hunting today, I just did some target shooting with a few handguns. I've been out 3...

RE: Glock 20 -29

I'm a fan of the Glock 20. If you want a 10mm priced under $600 this is it. I've concluded that you must reload or buy DoubleTap ammo to get the true ballistics that this round was designed for.
