I am definitely filling the freezer and eating. I tried boiling antlers for a long time, but they are still just too darn hard to eat.

My first buck kill was back in October of 1997 in Lawrence county Indiana. It was a four pointer with half of one of the antlers broken off. It was my first bow kill and he was up hill about 30 yards...

I will only kill a snake if it is poisonous and it is acting aggressive towards me or my children.

Otherwise I just let them be on their way and do as they please.

RE: Questions about shed hunting!

Right now I will have to go with Gander Mountain, but there is a new Cabela's being built right next to Gander that will open the end of this year and I am sure I will spend more time there.

You want to lease the entire property so you can kind of control what goes on. If not they may lease another part to someone else and that may interfere with your hunting.
