Will not go out without my Hunter Safety System. Easy to put on and the deer drag is a bonus.

Don't forget to undo the leg buckle before you start to drag that deer out.:D

Peep with a clarifier

I am getting old. Having trouble seeing my pins clearly with my glasses. I was using a large peep, then tried a hind sight, but not happy with that. Thought I might try a peep with a clarifier.

Went out tonight. Had a group of 7 does under my stand. Had not been in that stand for three weeks. While my friend walked down toward me so I did not spook them , I had 4 more does and a buck pass...

If you hunt in a warmer climate, a lightweight outer set would be great. Otherwise you could look into a liner that could be used for both.

A buscuit will tear up feathers faster. Try a little dab of gule on the tip of the feather, but I would go with vanes.

I would go with the loop. Besides saving wear on your string, you will not pinch your nock. You will also be releasing from directly behind your arrow.
