If applicable, take it to a pro shop and have it checked out. If not, inspect it REALLY good. Look for any visable cracks or major dings. Inspect the string and cables good and check for fraying....

I use a 4 Blade 100 grain Muzzy. Very sharp, shoot just like FP's and are tough as nails. I have had a 100% sucess rate with them, usually running no more that 20 yards.
