These triggers are so clean, I have not fet any need to lighten below factory setting of 3-1/2 lbs. Its not all about the weight is it?!

I have no experience with the Browning T-Bolt, but I imagine that the quality is good, and it would likely serve you well. Also a bit of a novelty! I do however own a CZ 452 without the set trigger....

RE: Recoil - Perception vs. Reality

If I had to lug around an extra pound or two to take the recoil of the 7mm, then that would make the difference. While you don't feel the recoil on the shot, you sure feel the weight at the end of a...

RE: .260, 7mm-08, .308 recoil comparison??

I shoot a 6.5x55SE and a .308 primarily. Honestly, once you get over recoil flinch by wearing a shoulder pad and ear protection when practicing, you can tolerate either one easily for hunting. Onf e...

Guns are made to use. If you can't buy it to use, then don't bother. Besides that, this is no longer a virgin.

There are many good guns available in .308 cartridge. What you get should depend on the way it feels and your budget. Savage, Tikka, Browning...and many more. Tikka T3 and Browing BLR are decent...
