Still Dreaming about the bucks I never got a shot at....

Just a few bucks of years gone by that I managed to catch on my trail cams but never got the privilege of seeing during bow season.

How much lime on 1/16 acre with 5.1 pH?

I got my soil sample back from the county extension services and my pH was 5.1. They are recommending 1.9 tons of lime. This sounds a bit much for such a small food plot (brassica). Any suggestions?

Who makes their own minerals, whats your recipe and when do you put them out? Here's my ingredients; Di Calcium Phosphate, Trace Mineral Salt and Dried Molasses. I usually put my minerals out in June.

I agree mrbb. I mainly bowhunt in state gamelands and there are some Saturdays where I am the ONLY hunter in these said 2500+ acres. Never hear any shooting going on (turkey, squirrel) during archery...
